Talking therapies, or psychological therapies, are effective and confidential treatments delivered by fully trained and accredited NHS practitioners. They can help with common mental health problems like stress, anxiety and depression.

Self referral to Falls Car Service by calling the Care Co-ordination Centre.

Strength and Balance Classes-West Essex

Health Outreach Service

Support for individuals experiencing homelessness, Gypsies and Travellers, Asylum Seekers, Migrant workers and ex offenders.  Members of the public can self refer to the service by emailing or calling them.  A multi-disciplinary team made up of General and mental health nurses, Social workers, outreach practitioners, support staff, psycological practitioner, drug and alcohol trainer and GP's

MSK-musculoskeletal physiotherapy service

They offer a physio assessment, advice, treatment and education for self management and supervised exercises.  Services are open to residents in West Essex and East and North Herts.  Residents who have a GP in these areas and are aged 18 years and over can self refer.

Mental Health Crisis support

You can also access this service by calling 111 select option 2 for mental health support (over 18 years old only)

Mental Health support

Support for West Essex residents experiencing excessive worry, low mood, depression and anxiety.  Self refer by calling or completing an online form or via digital assistant.  You can also visit a drop in service.

Podiatry Service

West Essex podiatry service includes community podiatry, MSK podiatry and diabetes multidisciplinary foot team (MDFT) at Princess Alexandra Hospital

First Episode in psychosis service (FEP)

Specialist care for people aged 14-35 who are experiencing psychosis for the first time
