Accessing our services

If phone lines are busy, please use our online form to seek help.

When contacting us please tell us as much as you can about what’s wrong so that help direct you to the healthcare professional best suited for your health care needs which might be a GP, nurse or another specialist such as a pharmacist or paramedic. The information you provide will also help us to prioritise your care if it’s something urgent.  We can also offer help and support via our Social Prescriber, Dietitian, Podiatrist, Mental Health Practitioner or Physiotherapist.

Our priority will be to ensure you receive care quickly and might offer you an telephone, video or face-to-face appointment, arrange a home visit or refer you to another service.

Kings Medical Centre would like to invite you to join Doctorlink.

At the practice, we have been looking at how we can improve access to practice services and we are pleased to introduce Doctorlink, our new online service where you can access advice and appointments on line.

Doctorlink Banner

Doctorlink is a free online triage and advice tool which helps our patients see the right member of the practice team in an appropriate time-frame based on your clinical need. At the end of the symptom assessment, you can directly book an appointment to suit your needs and/or receive advice relating to what you should do next. We have listened to our patients’ feedback about appointment availability and with this new system, patients will be able save time by reducing unnecessary bookings and calls which in turn will make our services more efficient.

To use Doctorlink, you will first need to register online either via this website or by downloading the app on your mobile device via Google Play or the App Store. Registration is simple and takes around 2-3 minutes. You must be 16 years to register but there is a facility to use the symptom checker on behalf of your child (age 3 ) or for people within your care who are registered at the same practice.

The usual methods of contacting the practice are still in place for those patients who may not be able to use a computer or do not have access to one.

For any further questions on how to use Doctorlink or any queries you have about the service, we do have a FAQ which can be accessed Here

If you would like support setting up this service please contact the Practice Manager via reception
